Brief: Strategic Communication Campaign for Karnataka at Davos 2024

Narrative partnered with the Government of Karnataka to craft a bold and visionary strategic communication campaign for its participation at the World Economic Forum 2024 in Davos. The brief was to position Karnataka not just as a key investment destination—but as India’s innovation and technology leader on the global stage.

 

Insight

As global investors and policymakers gather at the WEF to explore transformative ideas, the need for a fresh narrative was clear—one that could cut through the noise and position Karnataka’s pioneering innovation ecosystem at the center of the conversation. The campaign had to be deeply rooted in intent, yet broad in global appeal.

 

Problem

Despite Karnataka’s leadership in tech, R&D, and deep-tech ecosystems, its narrative often remained confined within domestic circles. The challenge was to communicate the state’s innovation-first vision through a universally resonant and impactful message that aligned with both state ambitions and global investor sentiment.

 

Solution: “Innovation. Will. Impact.”

We developed the core campaign line: “Innovation. Will. Impact.”
This master communication reflects the state’s identity and ambition:

  • Innovation — representing Karnataka’s commitment to bold, cutting-edge ideas 
  • Will — the unwavering determination and creative resolve of the state 
  • Impact — the tangible transformation Karnataka aims to deliver globally 

Whether read as three strong words or one complete sentence, the phrase captures the essence of Karnataka’s innovation positioning strategy.

This was more than just a tagline—it was a powerful government communication strategy brought to life through dynamic wall graphics, immersive LED displays, and strategically placed messaging across both internal and external touchpoints at Davos. Our execution embodied innovative branding strategies tailored for high-stake international forums.
