The task was to reposition the organisation as a forward-looking, open and action-oriented investment partner—proactive in its engagement, responsive to investor needs and committed to turning conversations into meaningful outcomes.
The challenge
nvest Karnataka exists to attract global investors, manufacturers and technology companies to the state—competing with dozens of regions offering a similar promise. Yet its existing identity felt more like internal government communication than an investment brand capable of opening doors in boardrooms from Tokyo to Frankfurt.
With no unified narrative or consistent communication system, every pitch deck was rebuilt from scratch for each event. The opportunity was to create a distinctive, enterprise-ready brand that could clearly articulate Karnataka’s investment proposition, present the state with greater confidence and give every investor conversation a consistent strategic foundation.
What we did
We repositioned the agency around “Actions Inspire”—a belief in demonstrating progress through proof rather than relying on promises. The visual identity reinforced this idea through a distinctive mark derived from Karnataka’s own initial and a confident red designed to command attention across high-impact communication.
The resulting brand system was built to work consistently across every investor touchpoint—from pitch decks and digital platforms to large-scale investor meets and international roadshows. It gave Invest Karnataka a unified, recognisable presence while creating a stronger and more credible platform for presenting the state’s investment proposition to global audiences.
The identity
Twelve months later
“We needed a fresh brand system that could set Invest Karnataka apart from other state investment agencies while appealing to global investors. Narrative delivered a clear and cohesive design system that gave us a distinctive, credible and internationally relevant identity—one that brings consistency to every touchpoint and communicates Karnataka’s investment proposition with greater confidence and impact.”
Most of our projects start with a call about what isn't landing. Bring the deck, the site, the complaint from sales.
