Zylog Group.

Zylog had built a strong reputation for precision material manufacturing since its establishment in 1984. However, its evolving capabilities across material formulation, composites, thermoforming and application-led solutions called for a broader and more contemporary brand position.

The challenge

Three businesses, one lost parent brand

Zylog had evolved into three specialised businesses: Zylog ElastoComp, Zylog Composites and Zylog GreenShield. While each business had developed its own capabilities, offerings and market presence, the organisation lacked a clear parent-brand structure to connect them.
As a result, Zylog’s broader material technology expertise was not visible as a unified strength. The challenge was to restore the parent brand, clarify the relationship between the three businesses and create a cohesive architecture that could present them as one integrated organisation, united by a shared foundation in innovation through materials.

What we did

A clear brand direction unified the portfolio

We established a clear brand direction that brought Zylog’s three businesses together under one coherent parent-brand architecture. The strategy defined the role of Zylog as the unifying material technology brand, while giving each business a distinct and meaningful place within the portfolio.
The architecture connected Zylog ElastoComp, Zylog Composites and Zylog GreenShield through their shared foundation in materials expertise, application-led innovation and performance-driven solutions. This created a stronger relationship between the parent brand and its businesses, enabling Zylog to communicate as one integrated organisation while preserving the relevance and credibility of each specialised offering.

“We knew the Zylog parent brand was getting lost across its growing portfolio of businesses, and we needed a clear direction to bring everything together and unlock its potential in global markets. Narrative understood this challenge from the outset and helped us shape a comprehensive brand strategy that strengthened Zylog as the parent brand, clarified the relationship between its businesses and created a more unified platform for future growth.”
